Artist Statement
As far back as I can remember, art has been part of who I am. Born in London, I’ve always felt a deep pull toward the surrounding world—the calm spirit of horses, the complexity of wildlife, and the uniqueness of people. My work explores these connections, set against the untamed beauty of landscapes.
While these themes lay at the heart of my practice, I have also enjoyed exploring creative ideas that evoke emotion and connection among animals and people.
At the core of my art is a universal message — story. Working with oils and pencil, I combine a range of painting techniques and brush textures to create pieces known for their depth, detail, and expressive energy. Each artwork reflects life, movement, and meaning, inviting the viewer to connect with the world through a shared sense of emotion and experience.
Inspired by photography and field trips with a camera in hand, I capture moments that later evolve into artworks designed to leave a lasting impression. My pieces often reflect both grand landscapes and small, everyday details moments that celebrate the beauty found in life’s simplicity. My goal is to create art that people will love, connect with and appreciate for years to come.
